Circadian Rhythm

Your circadian rhythm is your body's internal 24-hour clock that regulates sleep, hormone production, body temperature, and numerous other physiological processes. This biological timekeeper is primarily influenced by light and darkness, helping your body know when to be alert and when to rest. When your circadian rhythm is disrupted by irregular sleep, excessive artificial light, or shift work, it can affect everything from your energy levels to your immune function.
