Melatonin

Melatonin is a hormone produced by your pineal gland that regulates your sleep-wake cycle and circadian rhythms. Often called the "sleep hormone," melatonin levels naturally rise in the evening as darkness falls, signaling to your body that it's time to prepare for sleep. Factors like artificial light exposure, stress, and aging can disrupt natural melatonin production.
