Mitochondria

Mitochondria are often called the "powerhouses" of your cells because they produce ATP, the energy currency that fuels virtually every process in your body. Each of your cells contains hundreds to thousands of mitochondria, with energy- demanding organs like your heart and brain having the most. Healthy mitochondria are crucial for energy, longevity, and overall health, while mitochondrial dysfunction is linked to fatigue, aging, and various diseases.
